TikTok gerät erneut in die Kritik, da es täglich zahlreiche Verstöße gegen seine eigenen Richtlinien gibt. Seitdem 80 % der Plattform im Besitz amerikanischer Investoren sind, dominieren Videos mit Gewalt und Erotik den Feed. Gleichzeitig werden kleine Creator bestraft und harmlose Videos gelöscht. Doch Investoren haben oft nur die Gewinnmaximierung im Blick, unabhängig von den Mitteln. Darüber hinaus befürworten wir, dass eine Registrierung bei TikTok erst ab einem Alter von 18 Jahren möglich sein sollte. Die derzeit auf TikTok veröffentlichten Gewaltvideos sind für Minderjährige nicht akzeptabel. Es wirkt so, als ob die Mitarbeiter von TikTok Deutschland den Bezug zur Realität verloren haben. Es ist an der Zeit für eine neue Plattform, die ihre Communityrichtlinien konsequent einhält.

TikTok is once again facing criticism due to the numerous daily violations of its own policies. Since American investors acquired an 80% stake in the platform, videos featuring violence and sexually explicit content have come to dominate the feed. At the same time, small creators are being penalized and harmless videos deleted. Yet, investors often focus solely on maximizing profits, regardless of the methods used. Furthermore, we advocate for a minimum age of 18 for TikTok registration. The violent videos currently posted on the platform are unacceptable for minors. It appears as though the staff at TikTok Germany have lost touch with reality. It is time for a new platform that consistently enforces its community guidelines.
